The Matter Box Project

This project aims to develop high-quality, passively cooled NVMe SSD enclosures tailored for power users such as creatives, developers, and engineers. Frustrated by existing market options, which often suffer from poor design, subpar materials, and misleading performance claims, Cruz created two models: the MB20, supporting 20Gbps speeds, and the MB40, supporting 40Gbps. These enclosures are designed to provide reliable, high-speed storage solutions compatible with both PCs and Macs. Through rigorous testing and community engagement, the project seeks to deliver superior products that address key market gaps in performance and user experience.
